“Hospitals in London are overwhelmed, much more than in Spain”

Upon her return to London, after spending the Christmas holidays in Huelva, Isabel Arrabal has found a city confined and “out of control” by the coronavirus, after the detection of the new British strain. He has heard about it from the authorities on televisions and radios since his forced confinement, a ten-day quarantine that he has been keeping since his arrival from Spain, before he can go to work.

Arrabal, a nurse from Huelva with 20 years of experience in English health, works in one of the reference centers of the capital, the Saint Thomas Hospital – on the opposite bank of the Thames where Parliament is located –, where it helps bring babies into the world after
