By a correspondent – The National AIDS Council announced that selected teams would conduct a survey on HIV and AIDS by visiting homes and testing people.

The survey aims to assess the extent to which the country has moved closer to the objectives of UNAIDS 90-90-90.

Addressing the official media, Ms Sinatra, director of Nac Bulawayo province, said:

"The selected teams will go into households to test people and HIV-positive people will be linked to care.

Then, the viral load of those who already take antiretrovirals will be tested so that we can check our viral suppression in the community. "

HIV and AIDS are among the most deadly diseases in the world.
