The total snowfall since the winter storm so far ranged from several centimeters to over a foot across the towns and villages of Massachusetts.
Parts of Berkshire, Franklin, Middlesex and Worcester counties recorded snowfall more than 13 inches on Monday morning, averaging 7 to 12 inches in these counties, according to unofficial reports collected by the National Weather Service.
The highest totals include 16.4 inches at Rowe, 16.2 at Clarksburg, 16 at Goshen, 15 at Colrain and East Hawley, 14 at Ashfield and 13 at Hawley, Chester and Winchendon. Some areas, such as the cape and the islands, have experienced little or no snow.
The storm, which is the first of the season, is expected to bring more snow on Tuesday morning in parts of the Berkshires, Pioneer Valley and communities north of Massachusetts Turnpike in central and eastern Massachusetts.
