Huawei has canceled the launch of its new laptop because it no longer has access to the necessary components after being admitted to a commercial blacklist by the US government.
The Chinese telecommunications company has stopped producing its personal computer because it can no longer license Microsoft's Windows operating system or Intel processors, both of which are critical to its devices.
It is the first time that US sanctions against Huawei have affected the release of a device manufactured by the company. Donald Trump signed an executive order in May banning US companies from doing business with companies classified as national security threats, and added Huawei to an "entity list."
