The doctor reported that the UdeG defined to start with a Molecular Epidemiological Surveillance System to SARS-CoV-2 in samples from positive patients that allow the implementation of effective control strategies against Covid-19.

“It is important to know how the patients’ symptom behavior occurs. At the moment, the cases that were detected were not serious and that leaves us calm, but there are few samples, “he said.

He explained that having this surveillance system will allow identifying to what extent the frequency of this mutation of Covid-19, which will contribute to the control of pandemic.
