Jaguars close facilities after COVID-19 positive

It is the team’s first positive since Armstead was placed on reserve / COVID on September 5.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Los Jacksonville Jaguars They closed their facilities on Saturday because a player from the practice squad tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

The team said it consulted with the NFL and follows league protocols and conducts its activities remotely.

The Jaguars are scheduled on the schedule at home against the Detroit Lions, Sunday afternoon at TIAA Bank Field, and the organization issued a statement in which it reports that they still plan to play the game.

The team noted that they found out late Friday that their player tested positive and ran another test to confirm the result.

Jaguars have practice players and active squad players separately during meetings.

This is Jacksonville’s first positive since running back Ryquell Armstead was placed on reserve / COVID-19 on September 5.
