  • Ralph Bulger, 53, is petrified by the fact that Jon Venables is killing again when he is released on condition
  • Venables, now 36, kidnapped and murdered James, two years old, in 1993.
  • He has been thrown behind bars twice for pedophilia, but his release is expected.

The father of James Bulger, a two-year-old murdered boy, warned that his son's cold-blooded murderer was about to be released from prison – and thought he could kill again.

Ralph Bulger, 53, is petrified by the fact that Jon Venables' monstrous crimes will continue when he is granted parole.

In 1993, Venables, then 10 years old, abducted James from a Bootle Mall in Merseyside, before torturing him to death.

After serving his sentence, the sick killer, now 36 years old, has been thrown twice behind bars, most recently for child pornography.

But while Venables becomes eligible for early release and prepares to slip into the streets with a new identity, Ralph warned that he remained a danger to the kids.

"Venables is on parole at any time now and if granted, he will be released into the community under a false name and a new secret identity," he told the Mirror.

"It is a dangerous predatory aggressor and a killer of children.I'm terrified at the thought of hitting again and harming another child like my James."

Ralph stated that he had "prayed" the parole board to deny the early release of his son's murderer, on the grounds that "he will never be safe with children".

He said: "There is a whole new generation of young parents with children who did not know anything about Venables when he murdered James 26 years ago.

James was the victim of one of the most heinous and most notorious crimes of modern memory in the UK, when he was beaten to death with a brick on a railroad track by Venables and Robert Thompson.

Venables and has received many different identities since his first conviction in 1993, but he is continually being sidelined by indignant members of the public.

With his co-murderer Robert Thompson, he was granted anonymity throughout his life once they were released – no one ever heard of Thompson again.

Venables, on the other hand, was jailed two more times after admitting to owning more than 1,000 "disgusting" child pornography images as well as a pedophile textbook.
