“I let them know that I test for Covid-19 and it turns out positive. I have mild symptoms and will isolate myself based on medical advice. I will remain attentive to my work responsibilities, ”he wrote on Twitter.

On February 19, Juan Antonio Ferrer participated in the supervision of the works of the General Hospital of Sonora. In that event were the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador; the governor of Sonora, Claudia Pavlovich and the Secretary of Health, Jorge Alcocer Varela.
This Tuesday, the head of the Marine Secretary (Semar), the Admiral Rafael Ojeda, reported that he gave positive to Covid, for the second time. The first time the secretary reported that he had Covid on October 18.
Saturday, the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo Lopez-Gatell, reported that he gave positive to Covid-19. He noted that his symptoms began Friday night and that he will remain in isolation at home.
López-Gatell was present on Tuesday, February 16, at the president’s morning conference Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which was also attended by the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), Luis Cresencio Sandoval González, who announced a day later that he tested positive for Covid-19.

Other officials who also fell ill from Covid in previous months are Rosa Icela Rodriguez, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Irma Eréndira Sandoval, Public Function Secretary; Jesus Ramirez, general coordinator of Social Communication of the Presidency of Mexico; Zoé Robledo, director of the IMSS; Y Arturo Herrera, holder of SHCP.
