Alisson believes he has learned a great lesson in the campaign in Leicester City.
The Brazilian ball stopper tried a Cruyff turn in its own penalty area before losing the ball and allowing Rachid Ghezzal a shot that brought the foxes back into the collision.
Fortunately, the Reds won the fight and Alisson claims his good distribution was "important" to the team.
"I believe that [good] Footwork adds a bit more to a goalkeeper, but a goalkeeper has to defend first to get a good position, "said the 26-year-old.
"After that, he can help the team that wears the ball, which I've always loved doing since my career at Internacional.
"Here in Europe I could do more because of the style of the teams I've played in.
"Liverpool are a team training the ball from the back, so it's important that the goalkeeper be there too."
