Kanye West announces the 2020 presidential race

Kanye West has his eyes on the White House-yet.

The rapper marked the July 4th party with a big announcement about his plan to run for president this year.

“We must now fulfill America’s promise by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future,” Kanye, 43, tweeted on Saturday night. “I’m running for the President of the United States!”

He ended his tenure with what appears to be a possible campaign slogan: “# 2020Vision”.

Kim Kardashian and other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have yet to publicly comment on Kanye’s offer to become the next POTUS, however Elon Musk she replied on Twitter, “You have my full support!”

In 2015 at the VMA MTVs, West first announced his plan to run for president in 2020. Then in 2018, after his demonstration of support for the president Donald Trump agitated controversy, the 21-time Grammy winner said he would no longer pursue a career in politics.
