Pachuca, Hgo. Víctor Daniel Cerón Cervantes, former municipal president for the Interim Council of San Agustín Tlaxiaca, died this Saturday morning, a victim of Covid 19.
In that municipality, the candidate for mayor for the New Alliance of Hidalgo Party (Panalh); the municipal president-elect nominated by the PRI and now the former interim mayor died from the pandemic.
Cerón, who governed the municipality on an interim basis from September 5 to December 15, 2020, had been hospitalized for several days in the Inflatable Hospital in response to Covid-19.
Given the severity of the disease, he was intubated and despite the efforts of the doctors, he died.
It should be noted that his successor, PRI member Felipe Hernández González, who was the winner of the election for the renewal of the city council in the elections of October 18, died 8 days later a victim of Covid, after having received the Majority Certificate from the State Institute Electoral of Hidalgo (IEEH) which accredited him as elected mayor.
On October 7, 2020, Tomás Alonso García Cerón, known as Profe Tomás, candidate of the New Alliance of Hidalgo Party (Panalh) for municipal president for the same municipality of San Agustín Tlaxiaca, and Felipe Hernández’s main adversary died 10 days after the celebration of the elections.
In this context, Andrea Sánchez Salinas, councilor of the Tecozautla municipality, nominated by the Labor Party (PT) for Covid-19, died on Friday.
Through the official Facebook accounts of the PT, Javier Vázquez Calixto, state leader of the Partido de la Estrella expressed his condolences to the relatives of the municipal official.
Last Thursday, Patricia González Valencia, only 47 years old and who was just 62 days after assuming the position of Municipal President of Villa de Tezontepec, also died a victim of SARS-COV-2 after 8 days of being intubated in the Inflatable Hospital of Pachuca.
