“We were the Loneliness, then the Storm and now we are those doors that we do not dare to close or open due to fears and the uncertainty of the reality that crosses us,” said Mauricio Flores, director of the theater group “Lo-eventual”, about the new proposal submitted.
USHUAIA.- The theater group “Lo-eventual” landed on the Paseo de las Rosas and made its third Urban Theater intervention called “Las Puertas”.
“What we are doing we consider to be a form of theatrical activism, a poetic action”, expressed Mauricio Flores, director of the group and explained that: “The idea is to go to meet the public, an audience that is surprised, that is not waiting for us , an audience that perhaps never went to the theater and in this open-air space another type of poetic communication takes place ”.
The three interventions carried out by the group so far are anchored in the theme of the pandemic: “we were the Loneliness, then the Storm and now we are those doors that we do not dare to close or open due to the fears and uncertainty of the reality that runs through us. We believe that the scenes that we show, in some way, are healing ”.
Cecilia Vaca is that woman who has survived but is afraid, Matías Hinca is that buffoon who drags a threshold and proclaims the states of women, Priscilla Benítez Gaona envelops the scene with the melody of her violin, Mauricio Flores and Clara Rodríguez manipulate a feathered serpent that haunts the scene, Benjamín Flores Olivera opens the scene with a group flag. In the logistics, technique and care of the scene were Fernando Redondo, Catalina Flores Olivera, Luciana Mestre and Valentino Flores Olivera.
“We will be there every Saturday as long as the weather is with us, today we came to the Paseo de las Rosas for the holiday, but we will continue the next weekends on the San Martín” reported Cecilia Vaca, producer and actress of the group.
