Leeds United fans party in Marcelo Bielsa’s cameo at the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show

Array

At the moment we all live in very strange times.

Most of us have not left our homes properly for days while we work from home, have moved their social life to various video conferencing platforms and continue to wait for anything definitive surrounding the end of the current football season.

Nothing should really surprise us in these extraordinary times, but it’s fair to say that seeing Marcelo Bielsa appearing on the Andrew Marr Show on Sunday morning attracted some Leeds United fans on stage – and brought a smile on their faces.

The BBC political show Sunday morning saw the new Sunday Times editor Emma Tucker as a guest to discuss the latest developments on the coronavirus pandemic.

Emma was calling through a video link from her home and it didn’t take long for Leeds fans to see a photo of the Leeds United manager on the shelves behind her.

And as you can see from the tweets below, a framed photo of Bielsa ranks first among other family photos (unframed) and various books. Maybe all about Bielsa, but we can’t be sure.

Which neighbor? Victor Orta in Question Time. Actually, subscribe to that …
