Legends - Apex Legends Wiki Guide

Although Apex legends may have the typical Battle Royale format when it comes to spawning and weapon selection, it is their brave character choices that set it apart from other games in the genre.

Apex Legends currently has eight unique characters to choose from, each of which is ultimately designed to work with just one goal – the win.

If you're thinking of getting a specific character, you might want to think again, as the character's choice is based on a first-come-first-service system. In other words, if you plan to be good at Apex Legends, you will need to learn several different characters to accomplish this.

With a total of eight different characters available for launch, we've put together a complete list of all the characters and their stats. Click or tap on a name to learn more about each legend, or read more about our thoughts on the best legends (as yet) at the bottom of the page.

The best legends in the apex legends[[[[to edit]

We know what you are looking for. Which of these Apex Legends characters is in the meta, and how can you use them to determine your style of play to become the champion? Well, with such a limited pool, it really depends on your style of play (with the exception of one character).

For players who love the "run and gun" lifestyle, Bangalore, Bloodhound or Pathfinder are the obvious choice. Those who prefer the more cautious approach should consider Caustic, Gibraltar or Lifeline, and those who want to sneak around their enemies should learn to master Wraith and / or Mirage.

Best legends combinations[[[[to edit]

In reality, it's about how your team works together to bring the champion's laurel home.

The "best" squad[[[[to edit]

"Best" is of course a relative term – but for us it is the most effective and versatile combination of characters a team can put together. To this end, the backbone of a reliable crew loading is:

Gibraltar's ability to protect a shield from enemy damage and block enemy paths combined with Lifeline's Heildrohne is the most valuable double-pressure you can build in Apex Legends. The third member of your team depends on how your squad should work …

Aggressive: spook
For teams that want to pressure the attack, Wraith gives your offensive player plenty of maneuverability across the battlefield.
tactical: bloodhound
If you want to know where to find or avoid your enemies, Bloodhound's tracking-focused skillset is the ideal choice for your team.
Defensive: Corrosive
If your team wants to complete one area after another and want to keep control of it, Caustic is the best choice. Use his traps to surprise enemies who come through doors or staircases.

The smart girls[[[[to edit]

Honestly, the third teammate can be almost anyone, but Gibraltar and Lifeline can realistically suffer the most damage. The true flesh of this combo is that Bloodhound is looking for an opposing group, Gibraltar / Lifeline to fire it (or Caustic to lure it in), and Wraith to use their phase ability to flank and drop it toss.

Speed demons[[[[to edit]

For the teams that want to cover as much ground as possible as fast as possible, these are the members of the Legends crew with the best mobility tools. Each legend has the same movement speed, but if you use the skills of these three legends correctly, you can deal with a lot of ground faster. This is a great team to flank and get away from difficult situations.

Smoke and mirrors[[[[to edit]

The ultimate three-person mindblower. Combo Bangalore's tactical smoke with Mirage's … well … bluffs along with Wraith's voidwalking abilities, and your opponents will be so confused in the cloud that they do not know which direction to go – or where your balls come from.
