Kanye West shared a new song called ‘Wash Us In The Blood’ with Travis Scott – watch his official video below.
Released today (June 30), the mixed track Dr Dre serves as the first taste of West’s next new album, “God’s Country”.
His official video was directed by cinematographer, director of photography and contemporary artist Arthur Jafa, whose acclaimed 2016 work “Love is the message, the message is Death” incorporated the West track “Ultralight Beam”.
Jafa, who worked on music videos for Solange and Devendra Banhart, as well as on films including Spike Lee’s Crooklyn, revealed that he was working with West in May.
During a conversation with French stylist and film producer Michèle Lamy, Jafa revealed that he was directing a video for the rapper.
When asked if the video was for West’s Sunday Service project, he said: “It’s from his new record, it’s called” God’s country “and this will be like the first single, I guess.”
It comes after the rapper has signed a 10-year deal with the manufacturer to create a new affordable “Yeezy Gap” clothing line.
“Thank God. Hi Chicago, that’s true,” Kanye wrote outside a newly redeveloped GAP store in her hometown.
“This is the Gap Store where I used to shop when driving my Nissan from the south side,” says the note. “So blessed. I thank God and am so humbled by the opportunity to serve. I put my heart in the color palette and in every detail. “
