MEXICO CITY.- Disney Plus is already in Mexico and arrived with a lot of movies and series that can compete with Netflix, the most popular service so far, but it is not only about the content, but about the price.
AttitudeFEM collected some of the benefits that the new streaming service in Mexico offers you so that you can make a better decision.
What does Disney + offer that Netflix doesn’t have?
There are actually several differences between Disney and Netflix. They range from the cost of the subscription, to the catalog and the number of downloads available.
So let’s go in parts:
The day has finally arrived. And, maybe, this is the last thing you RT before entering #DisneyPlus.

We had already told you about this since the pre-launch offer, but the cost of Disney + is lower than that of Netflix.
Disney costs 159 pesos per month or 1,599 in the case of the annual plan and you can play content on up to four different devices simultaneously.
While Netflix’s premium plan, with those same four screens, costs you 266 pesos per month, that is, 3,192 per year. Almost double.
In addition, Disney allows you to create up to seven profiles within its platform, two more than Netflix allows.
Although be careful, the current Disney prices will only remain until December 31, 2020. So it is likely that from 2021 the subscription cost will change.
Needless to say, Disney’s content is quite extensive, encompassing more than 500 movies and 350 series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
Not to mention his (so far) 26 original productions and exclusive premieres, such as Mulán’s or the “live action” of La dama y el vagabundo.
But within this huge catalog, Disney plus has several movies, documentaries and series in 4k format that will allow you to see even the smallest detail.
Both Netflix and Disney allow you to download their content to watch when you don’t have an Internet connection.
The difference is that on Netflix you have a certain time to watch your downloads before they expire. If you don’t, you have to download them again.
Not on Disney +, you can download as much content as you want and watch it whenever you want without worrying about the content becoming unavailable.
Now, if you want to give yourself the chance to see what’s on Disney + before hitting the card, you can also do it because the platform gives you a seven-day free trial.
Before Netflix also had a trial period that was 30 days, but several months ago it announced that it would stop offering it.
