Manchester City wants to cling to Leroy Sane and is reportedly preparing to talk to the Germans about a new deal.
Sane will be awarded for the next two seasons to the domestic triple winner, but it was speculated about Bayern Munich wants to lure the 23-year-old back to Germany,
The Bundesliga champion will try to close the considerable gaps that will arise when the broad men Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery leave the club in the summer. It was reported that Sane carries the bill.
Sane scored 16 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions this season, but fought for a regular starting place in recent months.
He was reduced to Late Cameos in both the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup, while only three of City's last 11 games played.
Nevertheless, Sane, who joined Schalke for £ 37m three years ago, is still part of Pep Guardiola's plans, and City hopes to convince the player to dedicate his long-term future to the club.
