Leroy Sane has refused to devote his future to either Manchester City or Bayern Munich. According to speculation, he will leave the Premier League for the Bundesliga this summer.

It looks like everyone involved with Bayern has asked Sane to join the club, from President Uli Hoeneß and club legend Lothar Matthaus to a host of players including Manuel Neuer, Niklas Sule and Serge Gnabry.

Sane has spent the last week in international service with many Bayern players. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretska reportedly had a personal mission to persuade Sane to join the Allianz Arena.

The winger had a mixed season in 2018/19 and started and ended the season with Pep Guardiola. However, the club is still anxious to tie him at Etihad to a new contract.

Sane has done well in his last games of the season at international level, scoring two goals and assisting with two European Championship qualifiers.

After the 8-0 victory against Estonia Sane was asked by the German media for his future, but did not want to know what it is.

He said, "I'm going on vacation now, you'll see everything else."

When asked if this answer should give Bayern hope, Sane simply replied, "That's the questions about Bayern Munich."

Teammate Goretzka was also asked about Sane's situation and said: "No, I did not hear him, I already had a situation where I had to make a similar decision.

"I have also had the experience that you should meet in peace.

"Of course I talked to him about it and showed him that it's not a bad step, but I think he has to decide that for himself."
