Manchester United will offer young defender Luca Ercolani a new two-year contract that will prevent him from leaving the club.
19-year-old Ercolani played a key role in the UEFA Youth League between 2018 and 2019.
His deal runs until the end of June and he can not leave for anything.
But United absolutely wants Ercolani to stay and wants to give him a deal by 2021.
According to TMW in Italy Ercolani is in his home but "strong" in demand.
Several Serie A and Serie B teams are reported to be interested in joining him in their squad next season.
People like SPAL, Empoli, Ascoli and Bari want to win Ercolani for the next term.
All would rather be able to show him a way into first team football than United.
Another United player who could travel to Italy is Romelu Lukaku, who is seeking a move to Inter Milan.
The Belgian international wants to meet ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who has taken over the management of Nerazzurri.
Lukaku described the Italian as "the best manager in the world" and almost confirmed his desire to move to Serie A.
Lukaku, who scored 42 goals in a total of 96 appearances for United, said: "It's good to see Conte come to Inter, and he's the best manager in the world for me.
"I have already made a decision about the future, but I can not divulge it because I have a contract with Manchester United and I respect the club.
"I'm a big fan of the Serie A, those close to me know that I've always wanted to play in the English league and in the Italian league, I love Italy.
"The club and my agent will talk about it, but I've already made my decision."
