Meghan Markle has just made a big announcement: next June it will launch its first children’s book, which is inspired by a poem from the Father’s day who wrote precisely to her husband, the prince harry
Under the name of The Bench, the book explores the bond between parents and children seen through the eyes of a mother, based on what she shared Meghan Markle, who is expecting her second daughter, in a press release.

“The Bench started out as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie’s birth. That poem became this story, “said the Duchess of Sussex in the text shared by the publisher Random House Children’s Books.
Artist Christian Robinson was commissioned to illustrate the book, whose dust jacket features an image of a bench under a tree, with chickens nearby. This could be a nod to the chicken coop the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have in their California home, which is their son Archie’s favorite place.
“Christian layered beautiful, ethereal watercolor illustrations that capture the warmth, joy and comfort of the relationship between parents and children from all walks of life; this representation was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to represent this special bond through an inclusive lens, ”said Markle.
The former actress of series such as Suits Y Castle, who has been involved in the scandal since she gave an interview to journalist Oprah Winfrey, hopes that her book will become a success since it begins to be sold on June 8.
“My hope is that The Bench resonates with all families, regardless of composition, as much as it does with mine,” he said.
In addition to her book, Meghan Markle could enjoy in the following months, together with Archie and Prince Harry, the arrival in this world of her daughter.
