Meghan wins lawsuit against British newspaper for privacy violation

Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Henry, won his lawsuit this Thursday in the UK against the publishing company of the Mail on Sunday, a tabloid newspaper that he denounced for invasion of privacy after publishing a letter addressed to his father.

The Judge Mark Warby of the High Court of London ruled that the Duchess of Sussex, 39, “had a reasonable expectation that the content of the letter would remain private.”

The Mail on Sunday articles “interfered with that expectation” and are illegal, he ruled.
