The Met Office for Cumbria has issued a warning about ice cream.

Temperatures are expected to drop tomorrow, bringing rain, sleet and snow.

The yellow weather alert will be in effect between 9:00 pm and 9:30 am tomorrow, which may cause the risk of travel disruption.

The forecaster said, "Ice and snow cause most disruption to rural areas and higher elevations."

This alert follows today's snow warning, which is valid until 9pm when temperatures fall below freezing.

Motorists are encouraged to look for icy spots that can develop on untreated surfaces such as rain, sleet and sleet.
