Mexico confirms 419 more deaths from COVID-19 and adds 85 thousand 704

Health authorities reported 419 more deaths from COVID-19 coronavirus, for a total of 85 thousand 704 deaths for the disease.

They also confirmed 6,751 more cases for what they already add 841 thousand 661 people who have contracted the disease, since the beginning of the epidemic.

From an estimate of 977 thousand cases of COVID-19, authorities calculate that 43 thousand 708 (a 4%) make up the active epidemic due to symptoms in the last 14 days.

According to official estimates, presented at a press conferenceBetween weeks 39 and 40, there has been a 27% decrease in deaths, and only 1% fewer confirmed cases.

COVID recoveries in this period have also fallen 2%, according to official figures.
