Mexico reaches 86 thousand deaths from COVID, adding 352 deaths

Federal Health authorities reported this Saturday 355 more deaths from COVID in the registry, which so far Mexico accumulates 86,059 deaths from this disease.

The director of Preventive Programs and Disease Control, Ruy López Ridaura, announced that 847,108 cases have been confirmed, 5,447 more than yesterday Friday.

Health estimates that there are 45,199 active cases of people who have had symptoms in the last 14 days.

Until now, authorities also estimate that there are 176,683 people suspected of carrying COVID-19, of which there is no sample to test them.

Nationally, 71% of general hospital beds are available and 29% occupied. In beds with fans, 75% are available and 25% occupied.

With 59%, Chihuahua is the state with the highest level of occupancy of general hospital beds. The state repeats, but with 47%, as the entity with the highest occupancy of beds with a ventilator, for critical patients.
