Mexico registers 1,323 more deaths from COVID and exceeds 172 thousand

Health authorities registered 1,323 more deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 172 thousand 557 deaths confirmed by disease.

They also recorded 10 thousand 388 more cases, so that one million 978 thousand 954 people have fallen ill from the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, it is estimated that 67 thousand 668 (3%) are active cases of COVID-19 for presenting symptoms in the last 14 days.

In accordance with official estimates, between weeks 3 and 4 of the year, the trend of cases decreased 28%.

In addition, hospitalization in general beds was reduced to 42%. All entities report levels below 70%, according to authorities.
