Like the powerful comedy that it is Modern family preparing to go out forever this spring, ABC has announced that it will be sent with a special documentary tribute to celebrate the 11 years of the show on air.
A modern goodbye, an hour-long documentary, will air on ABC on April 8 and will retrace the show’s 250 episodes with nostalgia using interviews with the cast and crew, according to EW.
Fans will also be able to take a behind-the-scenes look at the script and casting of the pilot episode and also take a look at the script’s bedside table for the latest episode ever, so expect a few tears to be shed.
The ending of the one-hour two-part series will air immediately after the documentary.
Since its debut in 2009 Modern family among other things, he has won 22 Emmys, five Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe.
The cast and crew recently shared photos and videos of their final emotional days on the set, as filming ended, with Gloria Pritchett actress Sofia Vergara saying, “What a day !! Saying goodbye to our modern family. I won’t forget never this set, these people, there were only good moments. Thanks Modern family. Thanks Gloria Pritchett. “
There has been more sad news for Modern family fans earlier this month while the beloved little dog of the show Stella (real name Beatrice) passed away at the age of 10, a few days after filming the show.
