To update: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Patch 11.01 can now be downloaded to PlayStation 4 and weighs around 1.4GB. Happy hunting!
Original story: Capcom has released two in-depth updates to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Versions 11.00 and 11.01 will be released on October 10th together with the new Monster Rajang and a brand new volcanic Guiding Lands region. In short, these updates add a lot of things and adapt them. Monster Hunter World just passes.
First, you can make a whole new set of armor sets, many of which come from the base game. Transmog – the ability to customize the appearance of your equipment without sacrificing statistics – is something that fans have been thinking about for ages.
Next, important adjustments will be made to the functioning of the region levels in the lead countries. Iceborn's final is excellent, but there is always room for improvement, so Capcom has taken feedback on board. For example, you can now set the region levels to "fixed" before entering the lead countries to ensure that the environment stays the same, regardless of what you ultimately hunt. Good news if you are looking for specific monsters. There are many more details on the official update post.
To top it off, the development team has released another diary video embedded above. It has Rajang, it has layered armor and it is worth a watch.
Do you like Iceborne? Are you going to compete against Rajang in the next few days? Be careful with his golden coat in the comments below.
