Mum disgusted after finding live MOUSE wriggling around inside her bag of bread

A MOTHER-of-four has revealed her disgust after finding a live MOUSE wriggling around in a loaf of bread earlier this week.

She told CBC: "It was moving … It was scary, so big, oh my God. That was not a pretty sight."

She said Weston Foods, the company that owns the D'Italiano bread brand, asked her personally to apologize and offered her a $ 50 Visa gift card.

Loblaw Companies Ltd., who owns the No Frills chain, has told CBC that it has launched an investigation into the matter "very seriously".

They added that the store has "taken steps" to ensure no more.

"We apologize to our customers for the concern and inconvenience this has caused," they said.
