The NBA announced on Tuesday that Wednesday’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic was postponed.
Boston does not have the minimum of 8 players available to face the game due to the sanitary protocol against COVID-19 of the league, in addition to a couple of injuries. The game would take place this Friday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
The Magic and Celtics were scheduled to play Wednesday and Friday in Boston, but Magic won’t be traveling today, sources tell ESPN. It is immediately unclear the status of the Friday game, but sources say Wednesday’s game has been postponed.
