“Avengers: Endgame” was far from the end. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” is Marvel’s latest hit on Disney +.

To “WandaVision” * Disney and Marvel have immediately sent the next Marvel series into the race: “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” recently started and hit like Thor’s hammer. The mini-series is already considered a great success for Disney +. The first episode was promptly the most-watched episode of an original series on the streaming service. And that’s not the only success story.

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” is the most sought-after series in the world

A report by Forbes According to “The Falcon & The Winter Soldier” currently even counts as most popular series in the world. The same was achieved by “WandaVision”, which had only recently replaced “Attack on Titan”.

How was that determined? Forbes used the data from an external analysis company for this purpose. As a result, there is currently around 93 times more demand worldwide for “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” than the average for other series. With “WandaVision” it is “only” 90 times higher than the average.

Disney relies on Marvel and Star Wars

Disney’s in-house streaming service started at the end of 2019. Initially, it was questioned whether the Disney productions would be enough to keep subscribers permanently attached to Disney +. Judging by the success of “The Mandalorian”, “WandaVision” and now also “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, Disney’s strategy seems to be working to focus on the biggest franchises. Marvel and “Star Wars”Fans can look forward to many more productions.

After the success of “The Mandalorian”, “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and The Winter Solider”, Disney can look to the future with confidence. If the new shows can reach the same level of success then there should be no doubt that Disney + will prevail alongside Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Co.. (Ök) * is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.

Interesting too: Cancellation decided: Amazon Prime Video loses popular series after only a few seasons.

Netflix has announced a second season of “Love, Death & Robots”. Since Season 1 started in 2019, the streaming service will probably not take that long. A publication in the next few months is therefore very likely. © Netflix

The production of the 3rd season of “Virgin River” is said to have already started. Since the shooting is likely to be less time-consuming compared to fantasy or sci-fi series, a start in 2021 is quite conceivable. © Netflix
