CPCA has signed a contract with V4Services, a specialist public sector advisory firm, to create the Brexit4Business Cambridgeshire and Peterborough brands.
Brexit4Business is a management consultancy to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough divisions, including Huntingdonshire, Fenland and Ely. The service is fully funded by CPCA and The Business Board and consists of a team of specialist consultants with knowledge of a variety of industries and decades of experience.
Brexit4Business offers a range of free, bespoke advice and training sessions on all Brexit-related topics, as well as workshops on import and export after Brexit and the EU settlement system.
A project coordinator was tasked to establish an important communication link between Business4Brexit and CPCA to ensure that the program delivers the desired business results and reaches as many business organizations as possible in the region.
An intense marketing campaign has started with the launch of a website www.brexit4business.co.uk. The site hosts a number of Brexit resources, details of the advisory board with the option to book a phone call or face-to-face meeting, and details of upcoming workshops starting in December.
The workshops are free and take place in different locations in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They cover aspects of Brexit that companies may find difficult, including import and export documentation and EU billing systems.
John T Hill, Director of Business and Skills at CPCA, comments: "It is the joint responsibility to ensure that the local business community is fully aware of the potential Brexit results and how these can affect their business.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough have a great resource for experienced business consultants who are committed to helping their business partners with Brexit training and consulting.
The new website is a valuable asset for local businesses, and we hope that more than 500 companies will benefit from the consultation and technical workshops. "
