RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) Police remain silent on the grounds of the death of a man found in Salisbury – one of Rutland's two cousins who were shot dead the same day.
Nicholas Louras, 34, was found dead by gunfire on Tuesday in Salisbury.
His cousin Christopher Louras, 33, was killed in downtown Rutland the same day in a shootout with the police. Christopher is the son of the former mayor of Rutland, Chris Louras.
Governor Phil Scott said the drug could be involved in the incidents, but the police did not say that.
The Vermont state police did not speak Friday and said we should not expect an update until next week.
The officers involved in the shooting with Christopher Louras are all on paid administrative leave.
