Oxfordshire is the UK's flexible working capital, according to a new study by Gigaclear, a broadband fiber provider in rural areas.
The study shows that a quarter of Oxfordshire employees work at home (teleworking) and that half of them spend the same time between home and a shared office. On average, only 1 in 10 people work from home in other counties in the UK.
More than 10% of employees think that a better home Internet connection would help improve productivity. Gigaclear is working with the West Oxfordshire District Council to provide high-speed fiber optic broadband to 11,000 rural households and businesses.
