Pedestrian careless accidents on the rise in Turkey

TURKEY.- Careless pedestrians in Turkey returned from death’s door avoiding potential tram accidents at the last second.

Due to the recklessness of many, several accidents were recorded in the province of Samsun on the Black Sea, mainly when the means of transport approaches the station.

The metropolitan municipality of the city published some images that show the carelessness of pedestrians, which can lead to a fatal accident.

In the images, it is appreciated how people did not notice that the tram was approaching the station, so they were run over by the tram, although without representing a fatality.

At least 29 transportation services operate in the city with a population of 1.33 million. An average of 600,000 people use public transport per month.
