Phaedra Parks claims that her children “Could be the next hashtag” in the midst of a powerful discussion of racism

Realistic conversations.

Today, Phaedra Parks practically stopped by Daily pop and opened up about the unfortunate but necessary conversations he had to have with his children about racism. For Parks, these discussions have been “difficult” like his boys with the ex Apollo Nida, Ayden, 10 and Dylan, 7 years old, are “young” and “very innocent”.

“Unfortunately, because of the time we live in, it’s conversations that need to be held,” Parks explained to E! Justin Sylvester. “Why, they could be the next hashtag.”

As it continued, the Wedding Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition Stella said she wanted to stay “realistic with [her]self “among the” countless hashtags “.

“Our people don’t seem to end abruptly, black people,” he added. “So, I really have to have those very difficult conversations with my kids and say, ‘Hey, unfortunately, that’s the history of this country and that’s how you could be seen.'”

This conversation comes amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter demonstrations in response to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other.
