reInvestigators investigating the murder of a pregnant woman and her unborn baby in Croydon, South London, have arrested a third person.
A 25-year-old man is now being interrogated by police officers in a police station in central London after being arrested for murder.
Kelly Mary Fauvrelle, a Royal Mail worker about eight months pregnant, was stabbed to death at a Croydon home last month.
The 26-year-old baby, named Riley, was delivered to the scene but died later in the hospital.
The attack took place in Ms. Fauvrelle's room while her entire family was home and her loved ones heard her screaming around 3:30.
Two men had already been arrested. One of them, aged 37, was released without further action. The second, aged 29, was released on bail until next month.
Scotland Yard said: "On Thursday, July 11, detectives investigating the murder of Kelly Mary Fauvrelle and her baby, Riley, arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
"The man was taken to a police station in central London where he is still, and investigations are continuing."
