Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have their own wine

After securing the making of their first series with Netflix and starting the production of a podcast on Spotify, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have another lucrative business in mind: owning their own brand of wine. According to one of the neighbors of the Dukes of Sussex consulted by the newspaper The Daily MailHarry and Meghan are interested in following in the footsteps of stars like Cameron Diaz and Sarah Jessica Parker and investing in wine businesses in California, where they currently reside.

In an interview with the newspaper The Daily MailPenny Bianchi, who describes herself as a neighbor to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey, noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might have in mind starting their own brand of wine.

“Investing in wine is very common in Montecito. I have a lot of friends who have wineries and I even know a couple of people who have vineyards on their properties. It seems to be something very popular around here, so I would not be surprised if Harry and Meghan did the same, ”he detailed.

Following the news, California winemakers were excited about the prospect of Harry and Meghan starting their own wine brand. “I think it would be great for Prince Harry and Meghan to get involved in our industry,” Greg Martellotto, owner of Martellotto Winery, told The Daily Mail.
