Prince William will visit a company in northern Nottinghamshire during a visit to the region on Wednesday.
The Duke of Cambridge will meet the leaders at Tarmac’s National Skills and Safety Park in the Nether Langwith, near Warsop, where he will also meet young apprentices on the spot.
William, who is the second in line for the throne, will then join a meeting with the leaders, general managers and presidents of the main UK companies, discussing social mobility and training for young people.
Tarmac is the leading British company in the building materials and sustainable building solutions sector and its new center of expertise offers training dedicated to people moving in the sector.
Based in an active quarry in the Nether Langwith, seven miles from Mansfield and only one mile from Church Warsop, it helps the company train apprentices, graduates and those moving to the industry.
The Duke’s visit comes a few weeks after attending Stanford Hall, near East Leake, during a royal engagement with Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, her father, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
