1: MAPA TREES WETHERAL
The Christmas tree farm in Brackenbank was recommended to us by Barbie Ellis on our Facebook page.
She said, "Last year I got one for £ 25. 6 feet and it was the best tree I ever had. We will definitely return again this year. "
Leanne Clifford Bell added: "Mapa trees, cut off the tree by day.

2: HOLEBECK FARM, CLEATOR MOOR
News & star reader Alison Scott was one of several who recommended the Christmas trees of Holebeck Farm in western Cleator Moor County.
Paul Seager wrote, "Great trees from a local farmer."
Victoria Beck said, "Holebeck Farm has the most beautiful trees and delicious sloes."

3: MOORHOUSE FARM, CARLISLE
The farm owned by the Normal family was proposed by Jenny Carlile.
She said, "There is only one place – Christmas trees at Moorhouse."

Mark Baker said, "Friendly service. It was fun for the kids and not too expensive with different size options for each shoe. "

4: BOONWOOD GARDEN CENTER, GOSFORTH
The garden center in Gosforth near Seascale was recommended by several News & Star readers on Facebook.

5: BLAITHWAITE HOUSE, WIGTON
Blaithwaite House, located near Wigton, was praised by a reader for the quality of their trees.
Kate Glen-Donald wrote: "Fantastic, high-quality trees kept in the water (from the same supplier as Whinlatter and they also raise money for CFM's Cash for Kids).
"It's a family business and we make the kids feel special and give them a chocolate lolly!
"Our fourth year and we love it."
