Ronan Keating was happy to share that he is having a baby girl with his wife Storm.
The lovebirds, who have been married since 2015, broke the news that they expected as a couple for the second time in November.
Now they are only six or seven weeks away from bringing their bundle of joy home, the musician happily told Good Morning Britain on Monday.
While Ronan disclosed that the couple was having a girlfriend, the Irishman kept the name he chose for a secret.
The devoted father claimed to be prepared for the newborn because he got up most mornings for his place on the radio.
He said, “We are having a baby girl. This will be number five. We have a name but we will keep it hidden for a while. Six or seven weeks left.
“There is a lot of excitement in the Keating family. All the children are excited.
“Storm is in fantastic shape. Good times. I’m awake most mornings on the radio, so I should be fine.”
They have already raised their two-year-old son Cooper together, so of course the couple was excited to have a baby girl this time.
Ronan is also the father of Jack, 20, Missy, 18, and Ali, 14, from his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly, with whom he was from 1998 to 2015.
The musician and his second wife spoke affectionately about their collective family unit in a new interview with OK! magazine.
Storm, who is eight months pregnant, said five children were “enough” for them and they joked that her husband would take him.
He said to the magazine, “I’ve always wanted at least one of each sex, so I feel very blessed.
“It’s five kids in total now, so that’s enough, we’ll have to get Ro to be a sniper.”
The pair chose Cherry a name that Storm made fun of as “a little different” rather than “traditional”.
However, they were reluctant to share his name yet.
He added: “We’ve had the name since the early days. It’s not a traditional name, it’s a little different.”
