WATERTOWN – Sophomore Shooting Guard Taylor Roughen scored 27 points at height and hit two of her five 3-pointers, including a four-point game, at the decisive 18: 0 run of the Lake Mills girls' basketball team in the second half L-Cats to a 52-33 victory in Capitol North against hosts Luther Prep on Friday.

Sophomore Julianna Wagner scored with a 3-point shot from the top of the shot to give Lake Mills 48-29 in 4 minutes and 30 seconds before the end.

Lake Mills (11-4, 3-1 Capitol North) shot in defeat by Luther Prep (5: 5, 0: 3) in four matches, despite playing without second-placed scorer Jade Pitta, who has an ankle injury.

The L-Cats, who are now winners of four consecutive matches, scored five points at half-time and won with 16 points in the second half of Roughen.
