Bristol Bears has played in Gallagher Premiership Rugby's last five games with his home team that day. Bristol have lost only twice at home in Premiership Rugby this season, 40-45 against Northampton Saints in round 5 and 29-31 against Exeter Chiefs in round 7.

The wasps have only recorded two victories in the last seven rounds of Gallagher Premiership Rugby, both at home, in Bristol in November and in Northampton last month. The Wasps have won their first three away Rugby games in the Premiership this season, but have lost them ever since. They have not lost four consecutive away games in the tournament since 2014.

The wasps have won only in their last nine games with Bristol in all tournaments, at the Premier League Rugby Cup at Ricoh Arena in November. The wasps won on their only visit to Ashton Gate in April 2017.
