Russian warships were tracked down in the Channel and North Sea by the Royal Navy

The Royal Navy claims that the ships have overshadowed seven Russian warships

The Royal Navy has confirmed that it is “darkening” seven Russian warships.

It follows “unusually high levels of activity” by Russian ships off the British coast.

A Navy statement said, “As the Royal Navy prepares to assist the NHS and other government departments in addressing the response to the coronavirus outbreak, nine British ships have overshadowed seven Russian ships in UK waters.

The Navy completed a concentrated operation to obscure Russian warships after unusually high levels of activity in the English Channel and the North Sea.

“Type 23 HMS Kent, HMS Sutherland, HMS Argyll and HMS Richmond frigates have joined the offshore patrol ships HMS Tyne and HMS Mersey together with RFA Tideforce, RFA Tidespring and HMS Echo for large-scale operation with support of NATO allies. “

This is current news, others to follow.
