The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone was only announced earlier this week at the time of writing, but is now on sale in many regions of the world.
If you haven’t pre-ordered the company’s second folding device, you may have to wait a little longer before you can pick it up.
We tried to order the phone directly from the Samsung website in the U.S. and we’ve found that you’ll have to wait until February 18 for shipping. Those wishing to purchase Galaxy Z Flip in the UK at the time of writing must wait until February 29th.
Samsung retail stores are selling the device if you don’t want to shop online, but availability is limited in the U.S. and is already out of stock in most stores, according to Android Central.
We are not sure how many Samsung stores in the UK have in stock and Samsung has not yet revealed a release date for the Galaxy Z Flip in Australia.
You can find Z Flip elsewhere
However, you don’t have to go directly to Samsung to get your hands on the foldable Galaxy Z Flip.
In the UK, for example, the O2 network has stocks available for delivery the next day at the time of this writing – meanwhile, the high-end retailer Carphone Warehouse is saying “delivery by February 26th” on its website.
In the United States, AT&T is selling the phone, but you will be waiting for a few phases between February 26 and March 2 for delivery. Best Buy says it will soon receive more inventory, while Sprint offers an in-store collection but appears to have limited inventory.
Those who have booked in advance in the United States or the United Kingdom will soon receive the phone. The Galaxy Z Flip costs $ 1,380 / £ 1,300 (approximately AU $ 2,050), making it slightly cheaper than the Motorola Razr folding phone.
