School social climate and academic performance in communication in primary school students – Lima, 2014

Abstract

The present investigation entitled: “School Social Climate and Academic Performance in Communication of the students of the V primary cycle of the Educational Institution No. 1157 Julio César Tello Rojas – Cercado de Lima, 2014”, aimed to determine the relationship between the climate school social and academic performance in communication of the students of the 5th cycle of primary school. This in response to the problem: What relationship exists between the school social climate and academic performance in communication of the students of the V primary cycle of the Educational Institution No. 1157 Julio César Tello Rojas – Cercado de Lima, 2014? The research was developed under a correlational design, with a quantitative approach, in which the sample consisted of 120 students from the V primary cycle of the Educational Institution No. 1157 Julio César Tello Rojas – Cercado de Lima, 2014. To improve the information required, the instruments were previously validated and the validity and reliability were demonstrated, using the expert opinion criteria and Cronbach’s alpha; the technique used was the survey and the instrument, a questionnaire graduated on the Likert scale for the variable school social climate. With reference to the general objective: To determine the relationship between the school social climate and academic performance in communication of the students of the V primary cycle of the Educational Institution No. 1157 Julio César Tello Rojas – Cercado de Lima, 2014, it is concluded that; There is a significant relationship between the school social climate and academic performance in communication of the students of the V primary cycle of the Educational Institution N ° 1157 Julio César Tello Rojas – Cercado de Lima, 2014.
