Popular Call of Duty star Seth "Scump" Abner explained why he does not want his former team-mate Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag to return to his contest in Modern Warfare.

Former Call of Duty professional Nadeshot gained a large following in OpTic Gaming before announcing his retirement as a competitive player in the Advanced Warfare season and pursuing other projects, such as his popular esport organization 100 Thieves.

The CEO of 100 Thieves has since announced that he is considering returning to Call of Duty to re-test his skills as part of a challenger team in the new Path-to-Pro system.

Nadeshot is considering returning to Call of Duty.

With the start of the Call of Duty League hype in January, the former OpTic gaming star announced he would compete against players like BoZe and Fero in an open event.

One of his former team-mates and CoD World Champion Scump, however, explained why it was a bad idea for Nadeshot to compete in a challenger team after being asked by one of his viewers.

"Does Nadeshot play at an event? I hope not, "said the star of the Chicago Huntsmen," before hitting his old teammate, "he's seriously going to take some 18-year-old with him and that will absolutely cost you."

He then claimed that the founder of 100 Thieves would perform so poorly if he returned, that it would cost even young players their chance to become a pro.

"Boom, your shot to become Pro goes out the window because they wanted to play for an event with Nadeshot, it's just not smart," Scump explained.

Although many fans would like to see Nadeshot back on the main stage, he would need to spend a lot of time learning the new game and returning to his previous form to make the most of the competition.

It is unclear whether he will participate in future Open Events, however, his ex-teammate Scump will compete under the Chicago Huntsmen brand for the 2020 Call of Duty Pro League season.

Scump is one of the many professional players who have crushed Modern Warfare since its release and even discovered some unusual bugs that made him sideways in one of the game's new maps.
