The imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasél in Lleida continues to generate massive concentrations in various parts of Spain, demanding his immediate freedom. We remember that the Catalan rapper was arrested at the University of Lleida for exalting terrorism and insults to the Crown.
For the second night in a row hundreds of people took to the streets in Barcelona to protest against the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasél. Some protesters once again showed great aggression against the Mossos d’Esquadra, which on more than one occasion had to disperse the protests.
More than a thousand people came to concentrate in Lleida
Several hundred people gathered this past Wednesday at the Jardinets de Gràcia in Barcelona for the second consecutive day of protests over the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasél. As of 8:00 p.m. the atmosphere has begun to tighten, and the Mossos had to respond by firing foam bullets.
Once again, the containers burned through several streets of Barcelona, and they arrived to generate barricades in Via Laietana and burned containers in Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes and at the crossroads between Calle Pelai and Ronda Universitat and Balmes with Consell de Cent. The demonstrations are expected to continue throughout these days.
