Several school districts in Utah enable rapid COVID-19 tests for students – Telemundo Utah

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Utah schools, several school districts have already set up rapid testing centers for students and staff.

The requirements to be able to take the test is to have been exposed to the virus in the last 7 days, to have a letter from the school that indicates that the student was exposed to the contagion of COVID-19 and that the purpose is to return to class.

The trials are free and you can get the result in 15 minutes.

Davis School District opened a COVID-19 rapid testing center Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the Freeport Center in the City of Clearfield, in building “F2”.

The student must present a letter from the school stating that they were exposed to COVID-19.

The Salt Lake School District will offer its rapid tests at the Maverik Center, 3200 South Decker Lake Drive in West Valley City on the following days and times:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday for asymptomatic people.
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are for symptomatic people.

The tests are free and you can have the result in 15 minutes.

Please note that you must register first.

The tests will be closed on November 11 and 27; and on December 25 and January 1.
