In Europe it is already integrated to Disney +, as a tab
After 21 years as Fox Channel, now being Disney the owner of 21th Century Fox, Since February 22, a new chapter has started, changing its name to Star Channel.
Star seeks to strengthen the general entertainment programming offer in Latin America that has always captivated audiences, consolidating its presence in the region and inaugurating a new era.
With this change comes a change in the denomination of the Fox Channel channels, which are now as follows:

Star includes films and creative studios from Disney, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios, 20th Television, Touchstone and more; it also features original programming produced and distributed in Latin America.

The contents do not appear integrated within the Disney + streaming service in Mexico, since they will be sold as an independent service under the name Star +, which will also include sports channels, such as ESPN, with an estimated launch date in June of this year, at a monthly price of $ 7.50 USD or its equivalent in national currency ($ 150.05 MXN) or as part of a package with Disney + for an additional $ 9 USD ($ 178.93 MXN).

In this way, Disney + is made up of six brands: Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star. Thus, this offer now offers content that could only be accessed from HULU, only in the United States, reaching the international market.

In Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, Star has been launched but as an integrated Disney + service, so it would not be surprising that in a few more months it will be offered to Latin America.
In these areas, it will be characterized by offering content for adults that in addition to including content from Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios and 20th Television.
Includes original Star content, 75 television series and more than 280 films. Among the series available are: Modern Family, ”“ Lost, ”“ 24, ”“ Family Guy ”and“ Grey’s Anatomy. ”In movies“ Deadpool 2, ”“ Bachelor Party, ”“ Commando, ”“ Crimson Tide, ”“ Con Air, ”and“ The Grand Budapest Hotel ”.
As Disney promised, by being included as a tab, parents will be able to activate parental controls. Each minor may have their profile to adjust it to the available content options by age, being able to select between 6, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years plus an additional PIN and in children under seven years a special security mode.
In Europe, the countries that Star Channel reaches are: United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
Due to this new option, the price of the subscription service rises to 7.99 pounds / EUR per month or 79.90 pounds / EUR that will be applied until August 23 in current subscribers.
