Some of you may have seen a new title update downloading for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ™. Below you will find the release notes for this update, which improves the performance of backwards compatibility, specifically for the new generation of consoles.
High-level summary of features:
- Improved frame rate for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5
- Improved dynamic resolution ranges for higher resolution on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5
- Improved post-processing resolution for Xbox Series X and PS5. (Does not include Xbox Series S)
Console details:
Xbox Series S
- Frame rate increased to 60 FPS (was 45 FPS)
Performance mode for Xbox Series X
- Frame rate increased to 60 FPS
- Dynamic resolution has been added in the range of 1080p to 1440p
Normal mode for Xbox Series X (non-performance mode)
- Post-processing has been increased to 4K
- Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p
PlayStation 5
- Frame rate increased to 60 FPS (was 45 FPS)
- Post-processing increased to 1440p
- Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game renders at 1200p (instead of 810-1080p)
